The AGT Series is a DC generator specifically developed for battery charging – and currently one of the few on the market to offer this capability. Direct DC output eliminates the need for an external charger: charging current flows with minimal loss directly into the battery bank. Engineered for hybrid and electric marine systems where space is limited and energy efficiency is non-negotiable.
Why AGT Series Generators?
Charging output is controlled directly by engine speed – delivering exceptionally high efficiency with no energy lost to conversion. The standard Autostart system allows a battery monitor to start the generator automatically – controlling when and how long it runs to ensure the engine is always operating under the right load.
Proven over more than 20 years as the primary battery charging source in hybrid propulsion systems, the AGT Series is also increasingly deployed as a Range Extender for electric drive systems – keeping vessels moving long after shore power is out of reach.
HVO-ready and compatible with EN15940-compliant fuels without modifications. CAN BUS compatibility with SAE J1939 and NMEA 2000 ensures seamless integration into modern onboard architectures.
