The MAS is now in international waters heading West on its transatlantic crossing attempt.

The vessel is driven by two electric motors from Fischer Panda (2 x 48 Vshaft motors 20kW 600rpm). 

Two Fischer Panda battery-charging generators, a 22 kW Panda AGT 22000 and a 4 kW Panda AGT 4000, have been installed as a backup, should conditions be less ideal.
