8.900 square meters of land with 3,000 square meters of factory space has been newly purchased in Paderborn. Fischer Panda GmbH now has over 24.000 square meters of land with 7.000 square meters of factory space.

Fischer Panda GmbH has for some time attempted to purchase a neighbouring piece of land measuring 2,800 square metres and a factory building measuring 900 square metres to secure the future of Fischer Panda GmbH in Paderborn. We have now been successful. Stephan Backes has also been able to find a domicile in the immediate vicinity of the firm where he will move to on 1 January 2004. Soon after these contracts were signed, another piece of ground measuring 6,500 square metres, and a building of 1,800 square metres became available in the same road. A decision was made within two hours because of the sudden explosion in turnover. Fischer Panda GmbH now has over 24,000-m² land available with 7.000 m² of buildings. Hopefully this will cover needs for the next few years. We are conscious of the fact that the seven pieces of ground with a total of six buildings is not ideal. For this reason, the erection of a new building on land at another place will be unavoidable in the medium term. This decision will be made in four to five years, since the land available will suffice initially. There are various signs that the firm could grow faster than expected, but how this will develop cannot be forecasted.

Office buildings with factory and warehouses. 

This are belongs to the new part. The warehouse surface is 1,550 qm. The new offices with an area of 500 qm are on the left hand side. The new offices are used by the construction, documentation, marketing, system administration, procurement and customer service. All remaining departments will remain in Factory 1.
